BetterBooks currently acts only as a platform connecting buyers and sellers.

Payments and transactions happen directly between users.

As BetterBooks does not process payments or handle logistics, BetterBooks does not provide refunds for transactions between users.

2. Buyer Responsibility

Before making payment or confirming a transaction, buyers are strongly advised to:

  • Review listing photos and videos carefully
  • Ask questions regarding condition
  • Verify details directly with the seller
  • Confirm shipping arrangements and costs

3. Seller Responsibility

Sellers must:

  • Provide accurate listing information
  • Honestly disclose damage or defects
  • Ship books as agreed with the buyer

Misleading listings may lead to:

  • Listing removal
  • Account suspension
  • Permanent bans from BetterBooks

4. Disputes Between Users

Any disputes regarding:

  • Payments
  • Shipping
  • Damages
  • Missing items
  • Delays

must be resolved directly between the buyer and seller.

BetterBooks may review complaints and take moderation actions where necessary, but BetterBooks is not responsible for compensation or refunds.

5. Future Changes

If BetterBooks introduces:

  • Platform payments
  • Escrow systems
  • Managed shipping

this Refund Policy may be updated accordingly.
